About the position

O pozici

In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex R&D engineering and production-grade data analytics. You will support the development and optimization of automated electron microscope software. Beyond technical delivery, a core part of our mission is competence building. You won't just be delivering code; you’ll be helping our customer establish their own internal data excellence by setting best practices and mentoring their teams.

Actively develop and maintain an existing data pipeline (Docker, Python, Django, MinIO, SQL) that feeds critical decision-making dashboards
Stakeholder Engagement: Quickly gain independence to discuss requirements directly with stakeholders and participate in project planning and component definition
Knowledge Sharing: Co-create mentoring materials (Jupyter/Marimo notebooks, theoretical slides) and lead workshops for the customer’s internal teams

You should have

Měl/a bys mít:

Medior-level Python Expertise: Deep knowledge of Pandas; experience with Numpy, SciPy, or Statsmodels for data manipulation and analysis
Software Engineering Foundation: Proficiency with Git, Docker, and writing clean, reusable, and documented code
Statistical Mindset: A strong grasp of descriptive and inferential statistics, hypothesis testing, and exploratory data analysis (EDA)‍
Communication & Mentoring: The ability (or strong desire) to explain complex analytical concepts to others and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions

Nice to have/ nice to know

Experience with Plotly / Dash for creating insightful data visualizations.
Familiarity with analytical platforms such as Databricks, Qlik, or Tableau.
Understanding of DevOps tools or CI/CD: knowledge of how to streamline the deployment process or maintain data pipelines efficiently.
Advanced statistical analysis skills: familiarity with statistical methods or experience applying them to complex datasets.
