Intro about the position

We work on project in agritech, manufacturing and other industries and we're looking for data science professionals to help us deliver them.

Requirements

In-depth competency and expertise in data science (4+ years of working experience)
Deep understanding of statistics and experimental design
Strong knowledge of Python data science stack: pandas, numpy, scipy, matplotlib, seaborn, scikit-learn (required to learn within the beginning of the job)
Strong communication skills (written and oral) in English. Czech is not required

We give extra points for

Experience with cloud computing (Azure is perfect but any is good)
Ability to prototype fast and deliver production-grade code

Your role

You will be carrying out projects all the way from ideation to production. First, you will need to learn about a specific domain and problems they have there from a domain expert. (We span domains from milking of cows, detection of objects in radar data to prediction of issues on electron microscopes.)

Next, you will design a data science/AI solution to solve those problems that will be developed by you and a few colleagues that you will supervise. At the end, you will get to see your solutions deployed in the real world (Usually literally! e.g. during a farm visit).

Data scientists at Datamole get to apply their knowledge in agritech and other interesting domains. Not many companies offer the opportunity.

I personally work on modeling biological processes of dairy cattle which I find very interesting and slightly amusing at the same time.
